Chandler & MillerKnoll Showroom
The new showroom marks a significant milestone becoming the first of it’s kind in the Atlantic Coast to showcase the history, quality and capabilities of MillerKnoll, and other sought out brands represented by Chandler. The new space has been thoughtfully designed to attract a diverse group of people including designers, architects, clients, and the general public.

The design considers every space as an opportunity to showcase product and highlight applications in a seamless and blended approach. Timeless architectural elements have been designed to place emphasis on furniture and product displays while providing flexibility for future showroom changes as needs arise. Layered onto this backdrop is a wide selection of rich, bright and colourful furniture finishes supporting the identity of the MillerKnoll brand and giving the sales team the ability to showcase a variety of applications and options within each line.
Upon entering, the design aims to create a tailored experience that begins as clients are welcomed with warm hospitality and an inviting lounge to settle in and discuss visit goals before beginning their tour. A variety of furniture manufacturers are brought together across different settings to reflect the ability to blend different lines together seamlessly.
A furniture vignette is designed to consolidate all seating into one zone with a ‘classics’ chair wall anchoring the space. Task chairs are displayed to give clients the ability to try chairs out while easily being able to compare models and features. A large collaborative table is centrally placed to provide an informal setting for meeting and hospitality needs.
A large, open space blends a mix of furniture settings expressing the connection and transition between different work activities including a classics welcome zone, a large open collaborative area marked by modular curved seating, and open and enclosed workspaces. A client servery is centrally located to invite visitors to enjoy beverages and snacks.
A pre-fabricated wall system is designed at the centre of the open floor plate to demonstrate the ability to easily create semi-enclosed meeting spaces connected with technology and a variety of furniture arrangements. Each space sets a tone and encourages different behaviours by the end-user.
“The result is a blend of design and functionality creating spaces to welcome visitors, support retail and corporate needs, and tell the story behind the Chandler brand.”
